Fresh market conference and International Fruit and Vegetable Expo

Fresh Market 2016 is a meeting of fruit and vegetable suppliers with buyers representing retail chains. This year’s ninth edition took place on 23 September at the Mazurkas Hotel in Ożarów Mazowiecki.

For eight years Fresh Market has gained recognition both in Poland and abroad. Every year the interest of fruit and vegetable distributors from Europe and beyond is growing.

Fresh Market means direct business meetings at the stands of commercial networks.

Among the participants of the conference there were representatives of the supermarkets: Auchan, Biedronka, Tesco, Carrefour, Kaufland, Piotr i Paweł, Marcpol, PoloMarket, Stokrotka, Chata Polska, Dino market, Mila, Eurocash, Delikatesy Centrum Russian chains Victoria, Almi, Green Logistic – Kazahstan and Ukrainian chain ATB.

Fresh Market 2016 was undoubtedly a great opportunity to talk about the conditions of starting the deliveries with the representatives of the markets responsible for purchasing fresh fruit and vegetables.

This year, for the third time, we have departed from the previous formula of the event. This year’s edition of Fresh Market focused on business meetings and it will be entirely devoted to them.

In order to meet the expectations of participants, parallel to Fresh Market we organized the third International Fruit and Vegetable Fair Fruit Expo. They were held at the Mazurkas Conference Centre.

Fresh Market also means lectures of fruit and vegetable industry experts, which are translated into English. During the lectures the most important issues of the fruit and vegetable industry are discussed: analyses of the market situation in Poland and Europe, forecasts of upcoming changes and the price situation in the coming season.

“Fresh Market Award 2016” is a statuette, which is awarded to products from the fruit and vegetable industry that have recently made a clear impact on its development. From all the entries, 5 proposals were selected for the final round. The winner of the competition was awarded with the “Fresh Market Award 2016” statuette, the title “Fresh Market Award – Product of the Year 2016!” and an advertising package worth PLN 10,000. The contest was open to companies participating in Fresh Market 2016.

The “Fresh Market Award 2016” statuette was awarded to the product 100% Natural Juice. “Royal Apple Apple in a can”. This is pure, 100% cold-pressed apple juice from carefully selected varieties of fruit. Importantly, the product is not diluted with water or sweetened with sugar. The juice undergoes a mild pasteurization process. Thanks to this it is preserved without losing its unique taste and valuable vitamins. What is more, this is the first apple juice on the market sold in a PET can with an aluminium lid. Excellent taste and aesthetic and functional packaging make the 100% Natural Juice. “Royal Apple Canned Juice” is an innovative product which sets trends in the industry.
