Fresh Market Conference 2014
The Fresh Market 2014 Business Meetings & Retail Center was one of the biggest professional events for fruit and vegetables in Poland.
The event was held on the 3rd of October 2014 in Warsaw (Ożarów Mazowiecki) at the Mazurkas Conference Centre.
The seventh edition of the event had an international character and was a unique opportunity to discuss the supply of fresh fruit and vegetables with purchasers representing the largest supermarket chains in Poland.
Representatives from TESCO, Carrefour, Intermarche, Kaufland, Makro Cash & Carry, Piotr i Paweł, Marcpol, PoloMarket, Stokrotka, Chata Polska, Żabka, Dino Market, Auchan, Victoria, Magnit, and Lenta (Russian retail chains), and Almi participated in face-to-face meetings.
The Fresh Market 2014 was organized in a different formula, with a focus on business meetings and dedicated to all willing to cooperate with supermarkets. Of course, there was still room for exhibitors.
The conference programme included lectures from fruit and vegetables experts, which were simultaneously interpreted into English. They discussed some of the most important issues for the fruit and vegetables trade, such as an analysis of the market situation in Poland and Europe, prognosis of the coming changes, and the price situation for the coming season.
In addition, the International Fruit & Vegetable Fair-Fruit Expo was organized to meet the expectations of participants. The event took place simultaneously with Fresh Market.
