The Fresh Market Conference 2010 is a meeting of fruit and vegetable suppliers with buyers representing retail chains. This year it will be held on 24th September at Mazurkas Conference Centre in Ożarów Mazowiecki.

This year’s edition is the third in a row and has an international character. Fresh Market 2010 is promoted both in Poland and abroad, as every year it enjoys growing interest among European fruit and vegetable distributors.

The most important part of the event consists of direct business meetings at the stands of commercial chains. Among the regular participants are representatives of supermarkets: Biedronka, TESCO, Carrefour, Intermarche, Selgros, Makro, Piotr i Paweł, Marcpol. Fresh Market 2010 is the only opportunity in a year to meet the representatives of all the biggest grocery retail chains in Poland and talk about the conditions of starting deliveries.

The conference features lectures by fruit and vegetable industry experts, which are translated into English. At the stands fruit and vegetables importers and exporters as well as packaging manufacturers and other companies offering services for the sector present their offers.

The Fresh Market 2009 conference was attended by 300 participants from 160 companies from Poland, Italy, Spain, France, Chile, Ukraine, Lithuania, Morocco, the Netherlands and Portugal. Among the stands of retail chains, the Lithuanian chain Maxima also appeared for the first time.
