Fresh Market Conference 2013
Fresh Market is held in Europe in the center of Poland
Over 300 guests representing more than 170 companies from Poland and Europe attended the Fresh Market 2013 Conference. Among them were companies from Italy, Spain, Germany, the Czech Republic, Sweden, Ukraine, Russia, France, Greece, Belgium, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom.
From morning until afternoon, experts in the fruit and vegetable industry delivered interesting lectures concerning the market situation, forecasts for the next season, and trade conditions with distribution chains. Parallel to the lectures, there were B2B meetings between fruit and vegetable suppliers and chain store businessmen. Guests interested in cooperation had the opportunity to talk to representatives from the following chain stores: Tesco, Żabka, Chata Polska, Auchan, Carrefour, Stokrotka, Kaufland, Intermarche, Dino, Polomarket, Marcpol, two Russian chain stores: Victoria (Dixi) and Magnit, Ukrainian – Fozzy, and Almi – a chain operating in Russia and Belarus.
The formal banquet concluded the conference, during which the awards for the most innovative product and the product chosen by readers of the fresh-market.pl portal were presented. The title of Fresh Market Award – the Product of the Year 2013 was given to Fresh Carrot Juice presented by Victoria Cymes company. The reader’s award was presented to XTEND Bags by PHU PUCH Wojciech Pietroń company.
